Soymilk Pancake and Waffle

Soymilk Pancake? Hmmm,,

Looking for a pancake that’s smooth as silk?

Soymilk is the key to a silky pancake. How delicious is it? It is unbelievably tasty.

Once you try it, you won’t want to eat a regular pancake. It is so soft and so silky that your family breakfasts will be greatly improved.

The great thing is that you can’t taste the difference when you use soymilk; the soy flavor is almost non-existent. I enjoy eating it without adding any syrup.

It’s also quick and easy to make them if you have a pancake mix. Using homemade soymilk to make pancakes will DOUBLE the beneficial nutrients. This is the easiest way to make it without any additional ingredients.

But if you want regular soy pancakes from scratch, the Raspberry Soy Pancake recipe is also below.


Ingredients

Regular pancake mix or waffle mix Homemade Soymilk


Soymilk Pancakes . . .

They are super easy, because you already know how to make them. You just substitute soymilk for the water or milk in the pancake mix instructions.

Just cook them like you would a regular pancake. You won’t even need jam or syrup if you like them the way I do, but you can use condiments if you want. Cold soymilk pancakes are good for a snack as well. I hope you enjoy them!


If You Prefer SOY WAFFLES:

Pour the mix into the waffle machine. If you use a thin waffle machine, they will be crunchier and taste better, too.

Raspberry Soy Pancakes


Ingredients

½ c. soy flour
1½ c. unbleached flour or wheat flour
1½ c. soymilk
1½ TBS baking powder
1 TBS sugar
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
3 TBS olive oil or soybean oil
Raspberries, blueberries, or other fruits (optional)


Directions:

Mix the ingredients. After spraying the pan with oil, preheat it. Use a scoop to pour pancake batter onto the pan and sprinkle some raspberries on top if you want. Cook both sides until golden brown.

(Yield: 2-3 servings)

Option: You can use this recipe with a waffle maker.
